My first homework in drawing principles. I decided to draw a flower, this drawing is already improved. I removed other flowers so that there's a clear focal point and I used charcoal so that I would have more contrast. I also tried to blur out the ending so the stem would not touch the edge.
This composition's goal is to show the four values, and learning which part is darker and lighter.
I used different charcoal pencils to achieve the different values. Starting from the foreground which
is the darkest and the background which is the lighter part.
